This is the newest line of transmitter to come from Frsky. Its the Taranis Q X7, a toned down version of the most commonly used radio in FPV the Taranis X9D Plus. This radio has been manufactured to meet the needs of fpv pilots as well as cut back on the overall cost, giving the everyday FPV Pilot what they want...enough features to do what you want all the while ensuring a price point that cant be beat.
This radio may be cost effective but it also has many of the features you would find in a much more expensive transmitter. Programmable voice and sound alerts, alternative haptic vibration alerts, 16 channels, back lit menu system, easy to use wheel and enter buttons for navigating the menu, and it comes in a color choice of white or black.
The Taranis Q X7 runs on openTX giving the user a seemingly endless possibility of programming options. The Micro SD card slot offers endless model memory options. The model also features a usb port that easily connects to the computer to allow for adjustments to be made in a very simple manner. Featuring a return to center on both sticks makes programming for mode 1 or mode 2 a breeze and if you dont like the return to center feature it can be changed to static throttle by removing a few screws and the return to center spring. This model is also equipped with an audio jack just in case you want to wear headphones to hear the voice alerts in noisy environments. This radio also features telemetry and rssi signal strength feedback, trainer port, and JR-style modules bay. The module bay can be used to run several other protocol recievers with the addition of added modules. Frankly speaking, this radio has the features of a high end radio at a rock bottom cost. Hurry up and get yours today.
